BST supports employees in promoting environmental engagement on CSR Day at Bang Krachao.
On October 11th, Bangkok Synthetics Co., Ltd. (BST) organized an event to encourage employees at the Bangkok office to participate in environmental conservation through a CSR DAY activity (BST Volunteer for the Earth) at the Srinakorn Khuean Khan Park and Botanical Garden, Bang Krachao, Samut Prakan. The event featured five main activities: Cycling to observe plant species and birdwatching spots. Making EM Balls (biological balls that help treat wastewater and restore the water's ecological balance).Seedling transplanting, moving small seedlings with insufficient nutrients to suitable planting areas. Composting using natural materials. Mangrove tree planting, where participants planted 80 "Brasak Daeng" (Rhizophora) trees to help increase forest resources, which can absorb up to 760 kg of CO2 annually.
Bang Krachao is recognized as a large green lung near Bangkok, known for its biodiversity, economy, society, culture, and traditions. It is rich in natural resources and has been hailed as the "Best Urban Oasis of Asia."
This event showcased the volunteer spirit of BST employees from the Bangkok office, demonstrating their involvement in CSR activities beyond Rayong, with a focus on genuinely benefiting society.
