On Friday, October 10, 2025, Bangkok Synthetics Public Company Limited or BST Group, led by Mr. Soonthorn Prasopchingchana, Director and Managing Director of Bangkok Synthetics Co., Ltd. (BST) and BST Elastomers Co., Ltd. (BSTE), Ms. Natthinee Boontham, Managing Director, and Mr. Hiroomi Shimomura, Managing Director of BST ENEOS Elastomer Co., Ltd. (BEE), along with their executives and employees, jointly hosted the annual Samakkee Kathina Ceremony (Joint Kathina Robe Offering) for the Buddhist Year 2568 at Wat Soi Khiri, Huai Pong Subdistrict, Mueang Rayong District, Rayong Province. This event was held to preserve the beautiful Buddhist tradition and strengthen harmony between the companies and the surrounding communities.
This Kathina offering is part of the ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities that BST Group has prioritized and consistently carried out for the fourth consecutive year at Wat Soi Khiri, a temple located in the Map Ta Phut Municipality area. The primary objective is to contribute funds for the renovation and restoration of the temple's crematorium, which has deteriorated from prolonged use, and to sustainably support and maintain Buddhism alongside the community. Additionally, BST also participated in the annual Kathina ceremonies at 14 other temples in the Map Ta Phut and Ban Chang areas, continuing to uphold the Buddhist tradition and the cherished Thai identity within the communities for sustainable coexistence.
The annual Samakkee Kathina ceremony organized by BST Group has consistently received a great response from executives, employees, and local residents, including the Soi Khiri, Charoen Phatthana, Nong Wai Som, and other nearby communities. The total donation amount raised at the Samakkee Kathina Ceremony at Wat Soi Khiri for the year 2025 totaled 1,432,199 Baht.
